Engine 741 is our main engine. 741 can carry 5 firefighters. We carry extrication equipment (Jaws of Life) to remove victims who are trapped in car accidents. We also have a thermal imaging camera to help locate hot spots and victims trapped in a fire.

Interior View - 5 Compartments On Driver's Side:

Compartment 1 - Top Front This compartment carries adapters to place on the hose and tools to disconnect the hoses. It also carries a couple of spare nozzles. Our foam adapters is also located in this compartment.

Compartment 2 - Top Middle Compartment 2 carries a portable radio, portable flashlights and holds an spare Air Pack with 2 spare masks. We also carry some Gatorade or water for rehab.

Compartment 3 - Top Rear Compartment 3 holds hand tools used to help open doors and windows at fire scenes and car accidents. The black case holds out thermal imaging camera (see next picture below).

Compartment 4 - Bottom Front Compartment 4 hold our manifold for supplying many hoses at once. It also holds our hydrant bag for connecting hose to the hydrant and a bag of hand tools. Compartment 4 holds many items to make our response faster to our community.

Compartment 5 - Bottom Rear Compartment 5 holds 2 extinguishers (one water and one Multi-Purpose). It also holds a portable generator with light so we can light up scenes. We carry a chain saw to help ventilate a building that is on fire. We carry spare fuel for the chain saw.

Interior View - 2 Compartments On Passenger's Side:

Compartment 6 - Lower Front Compartment 6 carries cribbing (wood blocks) to help us stabilize a vehicle so we can remove patients without causing further harm. This compartment also carries tarps which will be used for any call from an accident to a house fire. We carry foam to help put out fire and oil dry to help dry up spills at accidents.

Compartment 7 - Lower Rear Compartment 7 holds our extrication tools that we use to cut apart vehicles. And, there is also an extra hose in this compartment so we can hook up all 3 tools at once.

Rear Compartment This compartment holds our Hurst generator and hydraulic hose. This is used with the extrication tools.
